The Steinmetz Funster is a study and was specially developed as a Highlight for the IAA 2001.

Body/Aerodynamic : New front end which includes the characteristic Steinmetz front grille, plus flippers to improve downforce and brake cooling vents, larger air inlets, air scoop, Air outlets on the wheelarches, rear wing, rear skirt with integral diffusor



Suspension : height adjustable racing suspension, wheel and tyre combination 17" at the front with tyres 215/45 and 18" rear with 255/35









Engine : 2.0 16 V Ecotec Turbo engine developing 225 HP (165 kW) and 365 Nm performance match such as clutch, gearbox and drive shafts, corresponding cooling system, special steel exhaust system
